This business is owned by the sweetest couple who truly care about our community and creating top notch baked items that are innovative and healthy! Everything I have had here is delicious and fun! Go early; they sell out quickly! From the compound butters to the fresh sourdough and other local flavors, Clemente is a must visit!
To my taste, there is no other sourdough bread like Clemente’s in the area. It’s the real thing and I love everything about this little bakery in Ventura.💕
I now own a reusable cotton bag to store my bread in. That’s how often I’m here. The sourdough is incredible, the jams are delicious, and the chocolate chip cookies are some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. This has to be the best sourdough in Ventura.

I went to the San Clemente bakery for the first time yesterday. I bought six loaves of bread, and some scones. I have to tell you, their sourdough bread is off the charts delicious! Super crunchy and has a depth of sourdough flavor which is fantastic. I will definitely be back!
I was in town and in search of my cookie fix. Much to my surprise and immense delight, I stumbled upon this gem. The cookies to the emerald plum bar. Pure craft. From the flour selection to the Aji Amarillo chili butter. If you know you know.
I love picking up a sourdough loaf for the week and a tahini chocolate chip cookie here. However, the hour listed on Apple Maps are incorrect. They are open Wed-Fri 7AM to 7PM, and Sat-Sun 7AM to 5PM, and Mon-Tues Closed.
So lucky to have a fresh bread bakery in town. Their country classic is yummy and I love seeing what they have in store each month for the rotating flavors. The bread can make a dent in the wallet, so I often get there early to try and grab their "vintage" bread (1-day old) for $6. Regular price on the classic is $10 and specialty flavors is $12. Great little shop. They must be doing well because they've expanded their business hours (it was a bit confusing with the strange days closed and with the various transitions during the expanded hours, I would show up and they were unexpectedly closed, but that's all sorted now). I hope they continue to thrive and be successful because Ventura is lucky to have such a yummy bread bakery!
